Feb 29, 2020

This week we're joined by Matt Cameron to discuss the corona virus, Stephen Miller, and a bunch of Court cases.

Merel Kahn did a great job breaking down U.S. v Sineneng-Smith over at her blog Top of the Ninth. The question in that case is whether someone who "encourages" an individual to stay in the U.S. illegally can go to jail. For a very long time.

We talk about Matter of RAF, a new Bill Barr special making it harder to win Convention Against Torture cases.

Matthew shares some good news out of the 3rd Circuit, and the 9th Circuit found MPP to be illegal. We celebrated this decision before it was stayed last night. So, there's that.
